Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our fabrication team. This role is responsible for manufacturing steel and stainless-steel components using modern welding equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, and able to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding; TIG welding experience is a plus

• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings

• Operate welding equipment and various shop tools safely

• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts according to specifications

• Inspect completed welds for accuracy and quality

• Assist in other areas of the shop including cutting, grinding, and fabrication

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace

• Work overtime as required based on production needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum 3 year of welding experience or completion of a welding technical program

• Strong knowledge of MIG welding and basic TIG

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and procedure manuals

• Proficient in basic math, including fractions and decimals

• Ability to use measuring tools such as a tape measure, gauges, and squares

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Physical Requirements

• Standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift

• Working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery

• Lifting, carrying, and positioning materials up to 50 pounds

Preferred

• Experience in stainless steel fabrication

• Ability to weld in multiple positions

• Familiarity with shop operations and machine-shop environments
