Senior Backend Developer in Go Language Description

We are looking for a strong Senior Backend Developer proficient in Go Language to join our team.

Client's mission is to make healthcare more accessible and affordable by helping people save money on prescription drugs. As a vital member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for crafting and deploying services and APIs that support new product functionalities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and a collaborative spirit to uplift the team and contribute to overarching organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will be able to quickly turn ideas into production-ready solutions in a fast-paced and friendly environment. You should also be comfortable learning new technologies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customer and handle their requests in a timely manner
• Create and maintain testing infrastructure for unit & automated testing
• Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and performant services
• Partner with teams across the organization to think beyond the technical implications of design decisions
• Engage in code reviews to ensure code quality as well as share and distribute knowledge
• Own, create, or review technical design proposals and proof of concepts
• Evangelize engineering best practices and push for higher engineering standards
• Promote a culture of operational excellence by meticulously testing and monitoring clients' systems and code, writing documentation, and being on-call to support the health of clients' services

Requirements

• 2+ years of strong Go experience
• 3+ years of total software development experience
• Proficiency in gRPC, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Detailed knowledge in building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based web services and microservices
• Commitment to code quality, best practices, and continuous delivery along with automated testing
• Flexibility in using diverse tools and technologies as per project needs
• Ability to work directly with the customer without supervision
• English level B2 or higher
