How You’ll Contribute:

Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Tax Manager with Private Equity industry experience to join our dynamic team. This important role includes client relationships, technical tax compliance and consulting work, and managing staff.

• Oversee tax compliance and advisory for private equity funds, real estate funds, and their management companies
• Handle partnership-level structures: K-1s, 704(b)/(c), basis adjustments, etc.
• Structuring of acquisitions, disposals, and fund-level reorganizations
• Lead technical tax research, modeling, and planning (e.g., carried interest, REIT structures, tiered entities)
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff or external preparers

Requirements

What Skills You'll Bring:

• 6 - 10+ years of recent experience with strong tax compliance and research background,
• Deep experience in private equity fund taxation (multi-tier partnerships, carried interest, waterfall)
• CPA
• MS in Taxation preferred
• Public accounting experience required
• Strong team player and a commitment to high quality, detailed work
• Ability to deal with clients and possess “executive presence”
• Strong technical skills, tax software experience, Excel/modeling, experience with tax workflow tools

How You'll Stand Out:

• Self-starter with ability to deal with multiple priorities
• Real estate fund experience (or real estate tax background)
• Familiarity with U.S. tax law + fund structures; international tax is a plus (if relevant)
• Passion for leadership, client service and strong communication skills
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
