Hiring Entry Level Marketing Associates

Join our team and help raise funds for a well-established charity serving children in need for over 50 years. We work to rescue kids from abusive homes and support the foster care system. Our advocacy centers across the country provide therapy programs for children, and the funds we raise go towards placing kids in safe foster homes, establishing more advocacy centers, and providing essential items for children in need.

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our growing team. If you are motivated to achieve fundraising goals and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

As part of our fundraising team, you will attend various indoor and outdoor events, engaging with attendees to promote our cause and encourage donations. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates for this role.

Responsibilities

• Applicants should possess an amiable and extroverted demeanor conducive to engaging with diverse individuals in furtherance of our charitable initiatives.
• They should feel adept at interfacing with potential benefactors individually and in group settings.
• Responsibilities include contributing to the inception and execution of fundraising campaigns, organizing displays, presenting merchandise, and delivering articulate messages to the community.
• The role also entails active involvement in fundraising events, both indoors and outdoors, necessitating interaction with potential donors to elucidate the organization's mission and encourage donations in support of specific initiatives.
• Applicants must demonstrate self-motivation and a competitive spirit to optimize fundraising endeavors.
• Additionally, regular participation in team meetings to deliberate on and set goals and provide individual input for organizational enhancement is integral to the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required 
• Must have a passion for helping others and a love for working with the public
• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to adapt to speaking with various audiences for hours at a time 
• Must be a team player and bring a competitive spirit to help drive the team towards its goals
• Must possess a self-motivating drive to hit individual and team donation goals 
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Must be comfortable standing for multiple hours at a time
