Job Summary

Join Flik Hospitality Group - a member of Compass Group USA as a Data Intelligence Analyst in Boston, MA . This is an outstanding opportunity to work with an exceptional team in a premier portfolio, driving data analytics trends to compete and succeed in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide monthly standardized reporting for various departments.
• Deliver ad hoc reporting for various departments.
• Maintain queries and data elements for detailed analyses.
• Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of analyses.
• Collaborate with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members to achieve business goals.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with customers.
• Adhere strictly to established processes and reporting standards.
• Resolve customer challenges related to analysis.
• Improve process efficiencies and documentation.
• Mentor and train team members, validating their work.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues before financial implications.
• Develop reporting and functionality that improves team efficiency.
• Lead complex challenging priorities with ambitious timelines.
• Learn and master new technologies.
• Develop a working knowledge of team responsibilities across Data Intelligence.
• Some travel is required for this role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of data analytics experience.
• Prior experience in the food service/hospitality industry is highly preferred. 
• Experience in data entry and analytics.
• Proven ability to present trends to guide business decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with financial and trend analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivots, lookups, and Power Query.
• Knowledge of Power BI and/or SQL is helpful.
• Self-motivated to learn and master new concepts.
• Understanding of data/reporting governance and integrity.
• Strong presentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
