Worship Band Leader Support the congregation's worship at a 10 am Sunday Mass in Saint Stephen Protomartyr Parish at our Immaculate Heart of Mary church (4092 Blow St. 63116) by leading a worship band and selecting excellent music. The Parish With three campuses in south St. Louis City neighborhoods with deep roots, Saint Stephen Protomartyr Parish is a warm south city community using innovative strategies to draw more people to the good news of Jesus Christ. Our staff values respect, positive attitudes, and getting things done. Our music at 10 am Mass is a mix of traditional songs in a contemporary style and praise and worship songs. The Position We are looking for a fee-for-service Worship Leader whose top-notch musical skill and leadership ability will draw us deeper into prayer by moving music. We want a devoted Catholic with strong vocal and guitar (or piano) performance skills can draw people just starting or restarting the practice of their faith into the joy of God's love and the mystery of the Eucharist Duties and Compensation Our worship leader will lead one service a week at 10 am on Sunday, will plan our music for that service, and will lead our worship ensemble, including a rehearsal from 8:45 am to 9:30 am on Sunday. Compensation is $200 to $300 per service, depending on skills and experience. Why should you apply?
