Job Description

Position Title: Sale Representative.

Industry: Wine and Spirits Distribution.

Location: Wichita.

Handcrafted Wines of Kansas is a privately owned distributor of wine and spirits with a fun and casual work environment. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a sales representative role for a well established sales territory in Wichita, KS. This position is a hybrid sales role that focuses on on-premise (restaurant) sales, but also includes some key off-premise (retail liquor) accounts in Wichita. 

Job Duties:

• Sell to and merchandise products to retail liquor store accounts.
• Sell to restaurants, helping to craft wine lists and cocktail menus using our products.
• Train restaurant staff on the details of our products.
• Work with restaurants to set up and conduct wine and spirits dinners that highlight our products.

Job Requirements:

• A self-starter with the ability to work independently is a must.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Dependable transportation required with no MVR violations.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Previous experience in the wine and spirits industry preferred.
• Previous on-premise sales experience is a plus.
• Associates degree preferred but not required.
• Occasional trips to Lenexa, KS for sales meetings.
