Job Summary: The Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving Clerk ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
Duties/Responsibilities: - Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Receives and verifies counts of incoming parts from vendors. Put parts away in designated inventory locations. Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
- Prepares shipments by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Documents weights and dimensions for shipments
- Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
- Performs cycle counting to ensure inventory is accurate and reports discrepancies.
- Open containers, sort, and catalog materials.
- Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Load daily pick up.
- Process shipment documents using ERP/TMS for UPS and LTL.
- Process inventory location transfers in ERP system.
- Look up locations in ERP system for current location.
- Back up Warehouse Manager as needed.

- Knowledge of inventory control.
- Ability to lift heavy materials.
- Computer experience along with data entry skills.
Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior manufacturing experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Previous stock or inventory experience is a plus.
- Previous Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift fifty pounds at a time.
- Position may perform bending, standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, squatting, and twisting daily up to 8 hours or more a day.
- PPE is required.
