At NielsenIQ, growth isn’t just measured in numbers- it’s defined by the partnerships we build and the markets we unlock. As Vice President, CPG Sales Solutions, you will lead strategic partnerships with senior CPG sales leaders and elevate how they use insights and analytics to accelerate revenue, expand categories, and strengthen long-term loyalty. 

This role blends insights leadership with hands-on client partnerships. You will guide how CPG clients adopt NIQ data and solutions while leading an insights team and high-impact engagements that translate analytics into measurable business results. Working in close collaboration with product, analytics, and commercial teams, you will ensure NIQ’s value is delivered through clear insight, strong storytelling, and commercial impact. 

Key Responsibilities 

Client & Commercial Leadership 

  • Serve as executive lead with sales leads at top CPG clients, responsible for retention, growth, and profitability. 
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that expand data and insights use and drive measurable business impact. 
  • Partner with senior client stakeholders (Sales, Category, Insights, Trade) to align analytics solutions to their commercial priorities. 

Insights & Analytics Impact 

  • Champion insights-driven decision-making using NIQ data and tools. 
  • Translate complex data into compelling, actionable business analyses for sales executives. 
  • Lead the integration of analytic-based insights into trade, category, and shopper strategies that improve ROI. 

Leadership & Team Development 

  • Build sales awareness across the organization- helping teams connect information and analytics to their business needs. 
  • Foster and enable the mindset of a different way of working with CPG sales. 

Strategic Growth & Innovation 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve offerings to address CPG sales’ needs. 
  • Identify whitespace opportunities to drive further business and value for CPG sales. 
  • Represent the company externally as a thought leader at CPG industry events and conferences attended by sales executives. 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships within data, analytics, technology, or consulting sectors. 
  • Proven track record of growing accounts and leading multi-million-dollar portfolios. 
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior sales leaders. 
  • Fluent in the CPG sales ecosystem - trade promotion, category management, new item sell-in, expanding distribution, joint business planning (JBP). 
  • Knowledge of manufacturer and retailer economics and key data sources such as POS, loyalty, panel, eCommerce, and syndicated data. 
  • Exceptional communicator who can turn complex data into compelling, actionable stories. 
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $146,300. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience,

qualifications
