This position is full-time but will consider part-time for the perfect candidate. We offer a schedule with some flexibility and the opportunity to become a leader in our clinic. Job Type:Full-time Skills Required: Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Flexible prioritization Effective decision making Interact with a variety of clients and employees in a professional, caring, compassionate, and tactful manner Essential Job Functions: Assist veterinarians with appointments Educate clients about wellness and prevention, nutrition, and individual pet health needs Provide high-quality service to all clients while maintaining maximum productivity Initiate laboratory, radiology, and treatment procedures Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after anesthetic procedures Administer medications under the direction of a veterinarian Anticipate veterinarian and team member needs Foster a positive working culture built on our values Support a practice environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork and ensures the delivery of quality, compassionate, effective, and efficient health care to pets Comply with all practice policies, quality assurance guidelines, and minimum standards of care Physical Requirements: Frequent computer use for long periods of time Walking/standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. unassisted Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Knowledge of Veterinary Medicine is a plus but, not required as we will teach you!
