We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to enrich our Vascular group in Glen Burnie, MD. This role offers the opportunity to work within a community hospital setting alongside a collaborative group of physicians dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care.

Job Description

Engaging Practice Scope:

• Full time M-F, no call, weekend or holidays. Enjoy the work life balance!
• Provide rounding and consultations in the hospital
• Outpatient clinics sees approx. 15 patients per day, seeing patients for follow-up appointments after treatments, address patient questions and concerns, and investigate ongoing symptoms, new patients and manage all inpatient calls from nursing team.
• comprehensive history and physical examinations and compiles patient medical data and assembles preliminary treatment plans.
• Orders diagnostic/laboratory tests as needed and collects, interprets, and documents test results for patients.
• Participates in treatment teams and develops and implements patient treatment care plans, records progress notes, and monitors therapeutic interventions.
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens.
• The successful applicant will be a member of an interdisciplinary team and will work collaboratively with our physicians in providing vascular surgery inpatient care.
• Complete comprehensive training under the supervision of clinic physicians
• Complete accurate charting and documentation of each patient encounter

• Master of Science degree with a completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse.
• DEA and CDS eligibility
