Responsibilities of the Vascular Access Registered Nurse will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients. Additionally, the Vascular Access Registered Nurse will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans.
The Vascular Access Registered Nurse should have previous training for IVs, PIVs, Midlines and PICCs.
Ideally, the Vascular Access Registered Nurse will hold or be willing to obtain their Maryland or compact multistate registered nurses license, and have at least1 year of direct patient care experience.
