Position Overview
Established 30 year CPA & Wealth Management Firm with locations in Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties is seeking an experienced Tax Accounting Manager with a strong background in public accounting, with a focus on management, accounting, financial statement preparation, tax preparation, and tax law.

• Comply with all company, local, state and federal accounting and financial regulations.
• Compiling, analyzing and reporting financial data.
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc.
• Computing taxes.
• Delegating responsibilities and supervising business operations.
• Hiring, training, motivating and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to clients, assessing employees.
• Resolving conflicts or complaints from clients and employees.
• Analyzing information and processes and developing more effective or efficient processes and strategies.
• Establishing and achieving business and profit objectives.
• Build alliances and partnerships while marketing to expand client base.
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
• Prepare sales tax and payroll for processing.
• Reconcile sales tax, payroll taxes, and bank accounts.
• Work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management.

Requirements:

• CPA or EA mandatory.
• Preparation of complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations.
• Review tax returns prepared by staff and make recommendations regarding accuracy and tax saving opportunities.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, prompt, detail-oriented, and professional. Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to take charge, multitask, and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
• Ethical behavior and attention to detail.
• Have a positive outlook and be trustworthy, with the ability to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.
• Have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations.
• QuickBooks experience. Thomson Reuters is a plus.
• Relocation to Spring Hill, FL completed.
