Contract Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift: AM Shift | 0630–1700
Hours per Week: 40 Guaranteed
Location: Denver, CO 80228

Join a high-performing surgical team in the heart of Colorado.
We’re seeking a skilled Surgical Tech to support a busy OR unit in Denver, where precision, teamwork, and patient care come together. This role offers exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties, with a strong focus on orthopedics and spine procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and RNs during procedures by preparing sterile setups and passing instruments
• Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure all equipment is clean and functional
• Support patient prep, positioning, and post-op transitions
• Handle inventory and documentation using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced acute care setting

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience
• Strong ortho (total joints) and spine experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Must be registered with Colorado DORA
• Basic computer skills required

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficiency in sterile technique and OR protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with EpicCare Inpatient EMR
