Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in East Hampton, New York is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
As an intern for the 2025 golf season you will be exposed to all aspects of turfgrass management and work closely with the management team daily. Our program is capped at three interns to deliver the best experience possible for you. We are flexible in regards to time off in the summer, and we can accommodate most requests. Responsibilities and duties vary based on personal abilities and skills but we will seek to grow your role as you progress throughout the internship.
Requirements:
Currently or planning to enroll in a 2 or 4-year degree, or certificate in turfgrass management/science, or related field at an accredited university.
Prior golf course maintenance is a plus. Individual should be motivated to pursue a career of turfgrass management and providing members with a quality product.
Candidates should possess a keen eye for detail, a good attitude, a motivated work ethic, and a passion for learning.
At times long hours may be required.
Compensation:
$19 per hour.
