**Job Title: Structural Welder** **TRAVEL Pay: up to $35/hr** **Position is located in Newport News, Virginia.** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder with over 5 years of commercial or naval experience **Responsibilities** + Perform tack, fillet, and full penetration welding on steel foundations and structural and pipe joints. + Utilize Shielded Metal Arc Welding ( **SMAW** ) and Flux Cored Arc Welding ( **FCAW** ) techniques. + Work on production projects for aircraft carriers and submarines. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience as a first-class structural welder in a commercial or naval setting. + Proficiency in SMAW and FCAW welding processes. + Strong ability to work with steel foundations and structural and pipe joints. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values your skills and provides an opportunity to work at one of the largest shipbuilding companies in the world.
