Job Description

The HT Group is looking for a Structural CAD Designer for a client in Beaumont. This is a Temp to hire position. Hours are Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm and on Fridays 7am-3:30pm with a 30 minute lunch. Must be available for possible overtime. Pay will be $24-$28hr DOE.
**ONSITE TESTING REQUIRED**Can possibly take an hour, questions related to CAD.
Responsibilities:
Preparing preliminary design, checking of designs and drawings
Structural Design experience
Working knowledge of AISC Code
Knowledge in the design of Base Plate and Support Structures
AutoCAD and MS Office proficient
AutoCAD 3D proficient
Requirements:
Minimum of two years working as a CAD Designer/Draftsman
Proficient with AutoCAD 3D
Be available to work a minimum of 40 hours weekly, OT and weekends as needed
Must have good verbal and writing communication skills
College Degree is preferred but not required
Be able to work within, provide support and contribute as a Design TEAM Member
Be willing to support other discipline designs when needed
Must pass Background check & Drug Screen ( No Felonies, Theft, or Violent Offenses within the past 7 years ).
