The Staffing Coordinator will provide hiring support to the Senior Managers and Department Heads across the Business Unit and will ensure that the team provides strong support and advice to the operations and functional teams. They will plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative functions of the business unit. They oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between an organization's management and its employees.
Personnel:
• Responsible for all talent management-related activities to ensure employee development and engagement.
• Issue resolution, follow-up, and recommendations for corporate COE’s including but not limited to Hotline call response, investigation, Corrective action/performance management consulting, and Policy interpretation.
• Partner with management to participate in and witness disciplinary sessions, employee roundtables, and investigations for your development.
• Assists in developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws concerning human resources (i.e., Federal and State Minimum Wage Laws, Affirmative Action, Immigration Reform Control Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Act etc.).
• Assists in the evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all active Collective Bargaining Agreements. Assist management in ensuring all articles are met in the operation.
• Analyze labor turnover information on a quarterly basis indicating units most improved on previous month, on last year and ranking units in order of labor turnover percentage
• Conform and implement company and legal, health and safety requirements.
• Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or the equivalent
• Employment relations experience including conducting investigations and resolution development required.
• Proven ability to effectively interact, communicate, and consult with multiple levels of management on a routine basis.
• Strong analytical skills are required.
• Ability to train and make presentations will also be required.
