Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual assessments and actively participate in IEP meetings to set educational goals and accommodations.
Design and implement specialized instructional strategies and materials to foster academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
Provide direct instruction in core subjects and specialized areas such as adaptive technology, life skills, and behavior management.
Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and records required for IEP compliance and reporting.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
Valid Missouri teaching certification in Special Education or ability to obtain certification.
At least 1 year of experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism, intellectual disabilities, and behavioral challenges.
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
Proficiency in using technology effectively for remote instruction and communication.
