LOCATION: Albany, NY

DURATION: 30 Months (as a 1099 Contract)

Project Description:

This position will design and implement software solutions and assure current and new technologies are effectively integrated to fulfill the business needs.

Position Description:

Program User Interface in JavaScript/Java
Program Mapping application using ESRI ArcGIS JavaScript API.
Program server-side code in Java for IBM WebSphere
Program Search component in PL/SQL for Oracle
Deploy code in IBM WebSphere

Mandatory Qualifications:

Ability to make high-level design choices and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
Must be an Expert with 7+ years of experience with ability to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience.

Desired Qualifications:

5 years of experience developing web mapping applications using ESRI GIS technology
7 years of experience developing Java/J2EE Applications
7 years of experience deploying applications in IBM WebSphere
6 months experience using ESRI ArcGIS Server JavaScript API
7 years of experience developing Java/J2EE Applications with the Spring Framework
6 months experience using Backbone.js
