About the Role:

Aquila Technology is seeking a Applications Developer   to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. We are seeking seeking an Applications Developer to develop Space Domain Awareness (SDA) software.

There are a few requirements for the position:

• Must be a U.S Citizen- Authorized to Work in the US - Must have an Active Clearance (Green Cards / Visas DO NOT qualify)
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
• Must be within 100 miles from Lexington, Massachusetts.

Must Have

• Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree
• Clearance Level: Currently holds a Secret Clearance (OR a higher clearance)
• 7 years - Software Development
• 7 years - Programming
• 7 years - JavaScript
• 7 years - Node.js
• 7 years - Object Oriented Programming

Nice to Have

• Programming

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Tasks include SDA software design and development, user interface development, and troubleshooting of software and data processing issues.
• Interaction with other organization members and software developers will be required in order to integrate software, ensure functionality, and to occasionally resolve anomalies.
• Assignments will require the candidate to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
• We are seeking highly motivated, exceptionally bright and creative individuals who can think broadly, analyze complex problems, implement solutions in a rapid prototyping environment, and who wish to contribute to the development of cutting edge technology in support of National Security.

Clearance: Candidates MUST have an Active Secret Clearance in order to be considered for this position due to the nature of the work being done. - MUST be US Citizen

Work Location: This position is HYBRID. The individual will be required to be onsite 3-4 days onsite per week. Candidates are expected to be local at the time of the start of the assignment. Final scheduled TBD by hiring manager.

Interview Process: 1st round interview will be a Zoom with the hiring manager. The 2nd round interview will be a Zoom with additional team members as needed.
