As a Small Business Underwriter, you'll play a key role in building a profitable book of business, specializing in commercial trucking. You'll work towards underwriting goals, growth targets, and premium objectives by carefully selecting and monitoring risk, all while nurturing strong business relationships.
What You'll Do:
Directly influence the profitability and success of our business.
Underwrite policies, determine pricing, and rate endorsements.
Enjoy autonomy in your work and manage your own book of business in a dynamic environment.
Develop trusted partnerships with agents and insured clients through your excellent relationship-building skills.
Participate in a comprehensive training program that includes one-on-one mentoring, classroom instruction, and self-study.
What You'll Bring:
Prior experience in sales, relationship-building, or insurance is a plus, but not required. We're willing to train the right person!
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze risk.
The ability to identify customer needs and effectively present our products and services.
