Senior Tax Accountant

Our client, a highly reputable CPA firm with deep expertise across diverse industries, is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team. This firm has built a strong reputation by providing top-notch accounting, auditing, and tax services to closely held companies, condominium and homeowners’ associations, not-for-profit organizations, mortgage companies, and local governments.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and not-for-profit entities.
Conduct tax research and provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
Analyze financial statements and collaborate with audit teams for integrated tax planning and compliance.
Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Assist in managing client relationships by providing proactive and value-added tax strategies.
Mentor and guide junior accountants within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting.
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with experience in multiple industries such as not-for-profit, real estate, and local government.
Proficiency with accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, UltraTax, etc.).
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex tax matters.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering superior client service.
