SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT (Permanent) Our client, a growing, local Tax Consulting company in WNY, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day tax accounting responsibilities for clients
• Gather information and conduct research in order to properly calculate quarterly tax estimates for individuals and entities
• Collect and analyze financial data to accurately prepare tax returns for clients (most clients are businesses: S-Corps, Partnerships, etc. with minimal individual tax returns)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records at all times
• Ensure tax returns are submitted and accepted on time
• Participate in planning meetings, presenting financial reports and outlining potential tax saving strategies
• Remain up-to-date with local, state, and federal tax laws/regulations
• Ensure compliance is maintained at all times
• Work well independently as well as part of a team
• Complete special projects in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

• Position is full time, direct hire  
• 100% remote; in-office for occasional planned meetings
• $80,000 - $95,000 annually depending on experience
• Partial-paid Health Coverage, 3 weeks PTO
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related
• MBA and/or CPA preferred
• 3+ years’ tax accounting experience
• Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel
• Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organization skills and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Maintain high level of confidentiality
• Relocation not available
