You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and external laws. Key Responsibilities:Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and monitor risks across the organization. Develop risk mitigation strategies and work with stakeholders to implement necessary controls.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that the company's operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company.
Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of company policies and procedures related to risk management and compliance.
Incident Management: Investigate and respond to compliance-related incidents, breaches, or violations. Recommend corrective actions and oversee their implementation.
Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness of compliance and risk management practices.
Vendor Risk Management: Assess and monitor the compliance and risk management practices of third-party vendors. Ensure that vendors meet the company's standards for risk management and compliance.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Legal, Finance, and IT, to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management and compliance.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports for senior management, outlining risk assessments, compliance issues, and recommended actions. Maintain comprehensive records of all risk management and compliance activities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CRISC, CISA, or CISSP) is preferred.
Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant frameworks.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex data and identify potential risks and compliance issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in regulatory reporting and compliance documentation.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
Technology Proficiency: Proficient in risk management software, compliance tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platforms is a plus.
