This role offers the opportunity to design and build innovative iOS features for cutting-edge financial technology applications, delivering seamless, high-performance experiences for end-users. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into elegant, scalable solutions. The position emphasizes best-in-class mobile engineering practices, mentorship of junior developers, and active participation in cross-functional agile teams. The ideal candidate is proficient in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, with a strong background in building iOS applications and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
· Lead development of iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, ensuring high-quality, performant, and maintainable code.
· Collaborate with UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, and Product teams to deliver engaging, user-focused mobile experiences.
· Participate actively in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, delivery, and retrospectives.
· Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team.
· Advocate for best practices in mobile development internally and externally.
· Identify technical challenges early and work with the team to implement effective solutions.
· Review code contributions to ensure adherence to language idioms, design guidelines, and engineering standards.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience plus specialized training).
· 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with a focus on iOS.
· Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience building iOS applications.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team.
· Experience participating in Agile development processes and contributing to team-wide best practices.
· Nice-to-haves: 3+ years building iOS apps, 3+ years of Swift experience, 1+ year SwiftUI experience, familiarity with open-source frameworks, and Agile methodologies.
