About the Role:
We're looking for a dedicated FP&A Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, driving our budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. This is a primarily remote position with the flexibility to work from home, with just two in-office days required per month. To be fully considered, you should reside in the Chicagoland area.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance Financial Reporting: Develop standardized reporting templates to help managers identify trends and variances, and streamline financial presentation reconciliation.
Support Financial Planning: Coordinate monthly and quarterly forecasts, and assist in the annual planning process for various business units, working closely with Senior Analysts.
Guide Executive Decision-Making: Assist in creating insightful reports to support high-level decision-making and collaborate on developing business cases essential to our annual planning process.
Maintain Management Reporting Infrastructure: Update cost allocations annually and process monthly allocations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Ensure Accuracy in Financial Statements: Prepare journal entries and verify the accuracy of monthly financial statements.
Data Management: Collect, organize, and present data for various reports and dashboards.
Conduct Financial Analysis: Analyze unit operations and financial performance, comparing current results with historical data, budgets, and forecasts. Communicate key findings through both standard and customized reports to keep all stakeholders well-informed.
Contribute to Team Success: Take on additional duties as needed, including supporting finance and other teams, and participating in special projects.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
Experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
Proficiency in financial modeling is essential.
