The Night Security Guard at Splash Summit plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the premises during nighttime operations. As a Night Security Guard, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise. Your primary objective is to maintain a secure environment for staff, guests, and property, promoting a positive and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities:


  1. Patrol assigned areas of the waterpark premises on foot or using a vehicle to deter and detect any suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
  2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and promptly respond to security breaches, fire hazards, or safety concerns.
  3. Maintain a visible and proactive presence, providing excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, directions, and ensuring their overall safety.
  4. Conduct routine inspections of designated areas, including entrances, exits, parking lots, and perimeter fencing, to ensure they are secure and free from potential hazards.
  5. Enforce park rules and regulations, addressing any violations or disruptive behavior in a calm and professional manner.
  6. Collaborate with other security personnel and park management to develop and implement effective emergency response protocols and evacuation procedures.
  7. Assist with locking and unlocking facilities, ensuring all entrances and exits are properly secured at designated times.
  8. Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, accidents, medical emergencies, or any other situations requiring assistance or intervention.
  9. Write detailed incident reports, maintaining accurate records of security-related events, observations, and actions taken during each shift.
  10. Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary, providing necessary information and support during investigations or incidents.
  11. Stay updated on the waterpark's safety protocols, emergency procedures, and industry best practices, attending training sessions as required.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by the park management to ensure the overall safety and security of the waterpark.

Requirements:


  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience in security or a related field is preferred.
  3. Strong observational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and emergency personnel effectively.
  5. Physical fitness and stamina to conduct regular patrols and respond quickly to emergencies.
  6. Familiarity with surveillance systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
  7. Basic computer literacy to operate security systems and write incident reports.
  8. Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and emergency response procedures.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a professional and cooperative attitude at all times.
  10. Availability to work during nighttime hours, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
