Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Well-versed on use of an industrial sewing machine.
• Able to process by sewing large volumes efficiently and safely.
• Relabel garments via garment label sewn in the neck, hem, sleeve, or various other garment locations.
• The ability to sew on patches is an added benefit but can train to do so.
• Ability to read a work order (will train on specifics but basic reading is required).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees.
• Ability to drive results with minimal direction.
• Multi-talented skill set and capable of making little or no errors in work duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous computer experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Standing for long periods of time, twisting, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work with hands.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Exposure to dirt, dust & noise.
• May be exposed to extreme temperature conditions & restricted ventilation.
• Ability to work various shifts and/or overtime is required.
