Roles and Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, parents, and students in a friendly manner; answer and redirect phone calls; manage mail, faxes, and shipments; send and respond to emails.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception area
- Must maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality.
- Maintain register for signing in/out students arriving late or departing early.
- Maintaining lost property items/log
Skills:
- Good telephone communication etiquette
- Active listener
- Fast and eager learner
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2 years' experience as a receptionist
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English (speech, written and reading).
- Fluent in another language(s) is desirable.
- Must be Microsoft office proficient.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- High levels of personal integrity.
- Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
