Job Title: SAS with R, R Shiny Programmer (Contract Role)

Location: Remote

We are seeking SAS and R programmers for a large Pharma company. Please apply for an immediate interview.

• Under moderate guidance, designs, develops, evaluates and modifies SAS and R programs to analyze and evaluate clinical data.

• Plans, writes and executes statistical programs in SAS and R designed to analyze data from database. Produces tables, listings and figures. Assesses data accuracy and consistency.

• Extract data from the SAS system and developed R scripts to clean, preprocess, and analyze data.

• Application of advanced statistical models, including linear regression and mixed-effects models.

• Applies extensive knowledge and skills, may act as lead programmer on project team(s). Consults in the design and development of clinical trials, protocols and case report forms.

• Utilize R to explore the correlation between the effectiveness of an integrated program and various diagnosis codes.

• Implemented data mining techniques and conduct correlation analyses using R's powerful libraries such as dplyr, ggplot2, and Shiny.

• Markdown reports, enabling stakeholders to easily interpret results and make informed, data-driven decisions.

• Additionally, automated data workflows and created reproducible R.

• Validates, documents and archives single-use programs. Validates and documents SAS macro library.

• Explores new programming technology. Tests, documents and integrates software tools into programming procedures. Documents and reviews work processes/SOPs.
• Troubleshoots and resolves difficult problems in creative ways, and takes a new perspective on existing solutions, exploring and implementing new concepts and methodologies. Translates technical knowledge into business strategy.
• Leads internal/external teams and builds professional relationships.

Skills:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience as a Statistical Programmer using SAS and R and Python

• 3+ years of R programming experience

• 8+ years of experience with AWS, Angular,nodejs, Linux, iOS, Android, Reactjs, PHP, Python, MySQL, DynamoDB, Restful, GraphQL (nice to have).

• R (with dplyr, ggplot2, shiny).

• OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, FHIR, Jira, Jenkins.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education
