Location: Wilmington, DE Description: Salesforce Developer Lead: Location: Wilmington, DE Work Type: Onsite, 5 days/week Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire, W2 Only - No Sponsorship available About the Role We're looking for a Salesforce Developer Lead with 5+ years of hands-on development experience to join our Corporate Responsibility Technology team. This is a role combining deep technical expertise with leadership and mentorship. You'll work closely with junior developers, guiding them through complex Salesforce implementations and integrations, while also contributing directly to code and architecture. What You'll Do Lead Salesforce development efforts (60% hands-on, 40% leadership). Architect and implement scalable solutions using Salesforce Lightning Web Components, APEX, and SOQL. Mentor junior engineers and help elevate the team's Salesforce capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with AWS, AI tools, and Payment APIs. Drive community development initiatives and custom application builds-no drag-and-drop work. Manage release cycles using Jules for deployment and release management. Participate in a 3-round interview process including hands-on coding and behavioral assessments. Basic Qualifications ~5+ years of experience in Salesforce development. ~ Strong coding skills in APEX, JavaScript, and SOQL. ~ Experience with Lightning Web Components. ~ Excellent communication and leadership skills. ~ Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers. ~ Salesforce Developer or Architect certifications. ~ Experience integrating Salesforce with AWS, Java, Python, and AI technologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Core Java, Python, and SQL. Familiarity with AI-driven applications and cloud-native development. Strategic thinker with a passion for community-driven development. Comfortable working in Agile environments and applying CI/CD best practices.
