The RN - Neuro ICU assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the neuro critical care setting. The Neuro ICU RN consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and recognizing change in patient's conditions. The Neuro ICU RN must be alert and prepared at all times to respond to emergent situations and they must also be able to remain calm and professional in times of crisis. Minimum Requirements: + Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices + One year of critical care experience is preferred + Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement) + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age ?? Shift: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM ?? Travel Pay Package: $2,793/week + $1,134 taxable income + $1,659 stipends ?? Requirements: + Licensure & Certifications (Must be in hand to submit): + CA RN License + ACLS + BLS + NIH Stroke Scale + TNCC (Preferred) + Experience: + Minimum 2 years of RN experience + At least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience (must be clearly reflected in application) + Epic EMR experience required + Other Details: + Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend + Patient Ratios: 1:2 + Float Requirement: May float to ED Step Down Unit or Central Monitoring Department + Local Candidates: Accepted within 50 miles at a local rate.
