Job Description

e are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rig Superintendent with expertise in 3000 horsepower (HP) deep drilling and HighTemperature HighPressure (HTHP) rig operations . This position is a residential position to be based in Kuwait

Responsibilities:

1. Provide overall supervision and management of drilling operations on the rig.
2. Ensure compliance with all safety health and environmental regulations and policies.
3. Monitor and control drilling activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
4. Coordinate with the drilling team to develop drilling plans and strategies.
5. Ensure that drilling procedures and best practices are followed.
6. Oversee the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
7. Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.
8. Analyze drilling data and provide recommendations for improvements and optimization.
9. Supervise and train drilling personnel to maintain a high level of competency and safety awareness.
10. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth of drilling operations.
11. Prepare reports and presentations on drilling activities performance and future plans.
12. Stay updated with industry advancements technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Extensive experience as a Rig Superintendent in the oil and gas industry with the last 5 years as a Rig Superintendent.
2. Strong knowledge and experience in 3000 hp deep drilling rig operations.
3. Proficiency in HighTemperature HighPressure (HTHP) drilling techniques and procedures.
4. Familiarity with Kuwaits drilling regulations and industry standards.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficient in using drilling software and technology.
10. Valid certifications and licenses as required by regulatory bodies.
