Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) needed for premier nursing facility.

Position Summary:

Provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned patients per their care plan and as directed by clinical supervisors

Qualifications: If you meet the below – please apply!

• Current state CNA certificate
• Current state RNA certificate
• CPR/BLS certifications
• Kind, positive, patient personality with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Maintains confidentiality and privacy for patients

Responsibilities:

• Assists nursing staff in providing restorative care to patients/residents
• Performs restorative and therapy activities with patients as trained and delegated
• Helps residents to sit, stand, walk, etc.
• Assists with activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, etc.)
• Monitors and reports on any patient changes in conditions
• Ensures nursing care is provided in privacy and patient information is kept confidential
• Assists therapy department with resident mobility – transports patients to and from various locations throughout the facility
• Uses proper lifting and transitioning techniques when assisting residents from wheelchair to bed, bed to chair, etc.
