Job Summary :

The Renal Vascular Unit RN is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with renal and
vascular conditions. This role involves critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal
communication skills. You will be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other
while providing excellent care to patients.

 

 

Salary Range :

• $30.69 per hour (2 years of experience)
• $33.71 per hour (5 years of experience)
• Up to $43.20 per hour (17+ years of experience)

 

Shift Differentials :

• $4.25 for nights
• $3.00 for weekends

 

Sign-On Bonus : $20,000

Relocation Assistance : Approved by division for distances over 100 miles (typically $2,500 to $5,000)

Shifts Available :

• Days (7 AM - 7 PM)
• Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)

Unit Beds : 45-bed renal vascular unit
Commuting Requirement : Candidates must live within commutable distance to the facility (less
than 60 minutes away)

 

 

Responsibilities :

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay

 

 

Requirements :

• 1 year of recent (within the last year) acute care RN experience (Med-Surg, Med Tele, IMU, PCU).
• LTAC experience considered if the candidate has acute care experience at some point in their career.
• Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire if holding a compact license)
• Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment start date
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as per local, state, and federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)
