Nutrition is a cornerstone of prevention and whole-person health. We believe that personalized, realistic nutrition guidance can empower our members to live healthier lives without stress or confusion.

As we prepare to launch this fall, we’re looking for a supportive, knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our team. This is a per diem role that can grow as we expand our membership.

Role Overview:

As a Registered Dietitian with DiscoverU Health, you’ll provide personalized nutrition counseling and coaching that aligns with each member’s unique lifestyle, medical needs, and personal goals. You’ll help make healthy eating realistic, actionable, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop tailored nutrition care plans.
• Provide individual counseling sessions, virtually or in person.
• Educate members on healthy eating, meal planning, and condition-specific nutrition strategies.
• Collaborate with the primary care and mental health teams to ensure holistic support.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Document sessions clearly and maintain accurate member records.
• Contribute insights to help strengthen our whole-person care approach.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and state licensure in D.C. , Maryland , or Virginia .
• Credentialed with major insurance providers is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing nutrition counseling.
• Passion for preventive, personalized nutrition care.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, supportive team.
