Job Description
The **Radiation Oncology Administrator** is responsible for the daily operations of assigned radiation oncology center. Works closely with operations management and is responsible for work flow and staff schedules. Provides excellent customer service skills including problem solving, timely follow up and process improvement. Responsible for orientation, payroll, training, and the entire HR lifecycle (to include hiring, corrective action, performance management, appraisals and termination). Maintains and creates statistical data as required for the management of the department. Coordination of facilities needs including but not limited to phone system, answering service, IT, cleaning department safety, supply orders and coordination of repair/maintenance of equipment. Responsible for organizing and participating in staff meetings, operational meetings, and other quality improvement initiatives. Maintains all regulatory compliance.
**Specific duties include, but are not limited to:**
+ Oversee daily operations including but not limited to overseeing MD department coverage, clinic scheduling, understanding of billing/reimbursement, staffing needs in accordance to budget.
+ Create/maintain reporting metrics as requested by Regional Manager. Ensures regulatory compliance as deemed by Center/Partnership needs. IE: ACR, DPH
+ Manages all office operations, functions, and equipment. Responsible for managing service contracts with vendors that provide maintenance and repairs to equipment and facility.
+ Oversees supervision of team members, including benefits, performance, hiring/selection, orientation, license/skill reporting, and performance management.
+ Develops, contributes, and participates with management team projects and quarterly meeting presentations.
+ Coordination with billing/reimbursement work group to ensure staff has obtained appropriate referrals/authorizations for services.
**Position Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
+ 2 years medical/oncology office experience preferred or equivalent related experience and/or education required.
+ Computer proficiency required.
+ The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.

**Physical Requirements:**
Standard Office Environment. The employee may be exposed to a strong magnetic field or may be exposed to environmental hazards such as exposure to noise, and travel.
More than 50% of the time:
+ Sit, stand, walk.
+ Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.
+ See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.
Less than 50% of the time:
+ Stoop, kneel or crawl.
+ Climb and balance.
+ Carry and lift (ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam).
