Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Inpatient Psychiatric Registered Nurses to support the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System located at 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29401. The shift schedules are typically 12-hour days or nights and include working weekends/holidays. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic care for patients in inpatient acute psychiatric units.
• Assess, plan, implement, supervise, teach, evaluate, and document patient care.
• Serve as an integral member of the treatment team.
• Manage care for patients with medical and psychiatric emergencies, detox/withdrawal symptoms, and safety concerns.
• Accompany/transport patients as needed.
• Work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory.
• AHA BLS required; ACLS for critical care.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or higher preferred.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a mental health setting (within the last 6 months).
• No sponsorship available 

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
