We are looking for an experienced powder coat painter who has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, where quality is our number one goal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Be accountable for the process, inspection, certification, and documentation of the product while working safely and perform essential housekeeping.

· Read a shop order accurately.

· Startup powder coat line and prepare for the day.

· Safely set up and operate powder application equipment including powder guns, hoppers, and powder booths while painting various shapes and sizes of steel components on a moving conveyor line.

· Apply powder paint as required ensuring that thickness, evenness, hardness, and adhesion meets quality standards.

· At times, use manual hand-held guns to apply powder paint as the parts move by on the conveyor.

· Work together with rest of team to assure quality or identify problems as they arise.

· Storing and inventory of powder.

· Assist with loading or part orientation on the line with other team members.

· Execute production work orders, gather required tools and materials, follow instructions and paint specifications required for job.

· Operate all coating equipment including guns, pumps, agitators, wash line, and booth filtration systems.

· Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment; clean hoppers, guns, and booth as required.

· Remain flexible to make needed adjustments to the painting process so that the end-result produces a quality painted product.

· Ability to work positively and as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

· Previous Powder Coat Paint experience required.

· Must have strong time management skills and be ready to show up to work on time.

· Ability to work well in a team environment.

· Self-motivated.

· Mechanical abilities.

· Eye for detail.

· Respect equipment and enjoy a clean work environment.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Able to work in fast paced environment.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Must be able to obtain Medical Clearance for Respirator Use.

Schedule:

· First Shift – Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:00PM
