We are looking for a talented and motivated candidate to join our creative team.

About The Role

The Photographer is responsible for executing photography and video for in-house projects. This includes imagery for print and electronic media. Currently, most photography required is still life with some periodic needs for on-figure, special story imagery, details, or environments. The expansion of our department includes significant growth into on-figure photography and video opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting deliverables in the visual representation of the brand through imagery.
  • Effectively executes high quality photography within efficiency and budgetary expectations.
  • Assists with studio equipment and software maintenance, organization, updates, and new technologies.
  • Ensures that all imagery produced is technically sound and meets requirements for various media usages.
  • Maintains file management protocols on computers and back-up systems.
  • Collaborates effectively with freelance talent to ensure successful execution of all imagery to Paul Fredrick brand standards.
  • Demonstrates creative, technical, and analytical skills.

Competencies/Skills

Knowledge

  • Must be well versed in a variety of camera formats, capture software, and the art of studio lighting.
  • Able to shoot digitally with medium and large format camera equipment.
  • Understand all photography project objectives in an actionable way.
  • Clear understanding of the primary functions and responsibilities of all Creative Department employees.
  • Must have a working knowledge of brand objectives and be able to produce imagery to meet them.
  • Proficient working on Mac OS, Capture One, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office software.
  • Physically able to use camera equipment from a ladder, and able to lift and carry 40lbs.
  • Experience shooting and editing video a plus.

Communication

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively within the studio, with freelance staff, and cross departmentally to successfully execute projects.
  • Interact and contribute to the Creative Dept. and to the company objectives (includes cross-departmental efforts & meetings) with new/relevant photography ideas for any/all media.

Employment Type

  • Full-time, On-site in Reading, PA

Salary

  • $45,000 to $55,000 per year
