We began in 2018 with 3 providers and have grown to having 12-13 providers and two buildings in High Point, NC and most days average 7-8 providers on our schedule. Conveniently located in High Point, NC, we serve families across the Triad with a commitment to excellence, family-centered care, and a heart for missions. Our team is passionate about equipping parents with the best medical information, simplifying access to care, and making a difference both locally and globally. What This Role is All About

As our Telephone Triage Nurse, you will be the first point of contact for patients seeking guidance. Your calm demeanor and clinical expertise will help assess needs, prioritize care, and ensure patients get the help they needfast! Your ability to schedule appointments that are needed the same day while giving clinical advice over the phone for parents that dont need to come in is a key aspect of the role.

️ Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments over the phone.

Evaluate urgency using medical knowledge and triage protocols.

Administer medications and injections when needed.

Document patient interactions in the EHR system.

Monitor vital signs and perform venipuncture if required.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals on care plans.

Educate patients about conditions and treatments.

Stay current on triage and emergency care best practices.

Schedule patients appropriately.

Requirements

Valid RN license

1+ year of phone triage experience

Strong communication and assessment skills

**Nice-to-Haves:**

Experience in Level I or II trauma centers

Familiarity with EHR systems and documentation standards
