Playabilities is a multi-disciplinary pediatric occupational, physical, and speech therapy clinic located in Johnson County, Kansas. We provide personalized, intensive, and client-centered therapy services for children with various neurodevelopmental disabilities including developmental delays, autism, and sensory processing disorder. Job Description

This Speech Therapist will be responsible for managing the entire client experience from initial evaluation to implementation of treatment to family education to discharge. No two children are the same and therapists will need to use their expertise and creativity to connect with their clients, implementing a variety of approaches to find the “just right” therapeutic fit for your clients. Our therapy style is primarily play-based in a one-on-one setting. 

Expectations

Therapists will need to be a quick learner and capable of juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time while providing high-touch service to clients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

• Applicants should have 2+ years of experience;
• Kansas Speech Language Pathologist License;
• A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university; and
• A personal professional liability policy

Availability

This position would be located at our clinic in Leawood, KS. 

The ideal candidate will have availability to work at least 4 days a week, with 6 or more total hours of availability between the hours of 4:00-7:00 PM.  The position will start with part-time hours and build into a full time position (25-35 hours/week) over the course of the first few months of employment. 

Compensation

This position is paid $47 per billable hour of therapy.
