Location: Old Greenwich, CT
Compensation: $32-$35/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM (30 hours per week)

Job Overview:
A warm and loving stay-at-home mom is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Mother’s Helper to assist with the afternoon and evening routines as she prepares to welcome a new baby in June. The role involves caring for a 3-year-old boy, assisting with daily activities, and supporting the transition of a growing family. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and willing to work alongside the mother to ensure a smooth household flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on care for a 3-year-old, including playtime, park outings, and activity engagement.
- Assist with afternoon routines, including swim class on Mondays and music class.
- Support bedtime routine, including bath time at 7:00 PM.
- Help with the transition when the new baby arrives in June.
- Work closely with the mother to provide support in daily household and childcare tasks.
- Maintain a tidy and organized environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Energetic, fit, and comfortable working in a busy household.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs, especially after the baby’s arrival.
- Comfortable working closely with a stay-at-home mom.
- Long-term commitment preferred (ideally 5 years).
- Must live near Old Greenwich, with preference for candidates in Stamford or Darien.
- Open to future travel opportunities.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with young children and newborns preferred.
- Reliable and proactive with a positive, team-player attitude.
- Must have flexibility in schedule.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 3-5 references demonstrating long-term commitment to families.
