Position Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in our Live Online Classes, helping to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction that aligns with our philosophy of personalized learning. You'll collaborate closely with our teaching staff to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Details:

Remote Role: This position is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work from home.
Flexible Hours: Classes are held at various times between 10:00 am EST and 6:30 pm EST, Monday through Thursday, allowing you to find a schedule that works for you.
Eligible States: To apply, you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia.
What You'll Do:

Support Instruction: Assist in online classroom management, including recording sessions, supervising breakout rooms, and answering student questions in the chat.
Collaborate with Teachers: Work with Live Online Teachers on tasks within the learning management system (LMS) and provide class coverage when needed.
Enhance Learning: Help utilize online tools effectively, contribute to lesson delivery, and support student progress monitoring. You'll also promote enrichment and remediation as necessary.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in delivery reflection, discuss course content with teachers, and engage in regular virtual meetings.
Professional Development: Take part in ongoing personal and professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED.
Residency in one of the states listed above.
Preferred (but not required):

A degree in Education or a related field.
Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
Familiarity with Moodle or a similar LMS.
Knowledge in a specific content area.
