Pay Rate: $16.50 | Shift: 5 AM- 1:30 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking customer orders, ensuring that all items related to pet supplies are accurately selected and prepared for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking: Accurately pick items from inventory according to the order sheet. Items may include pet food, toys, cages, clothes, and other pet-related products.
• Inventory Handling: Handle a variety of items, with weights ranging from 10 to 50 lbs., ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
• Order Verification: Carefully read and interpret order sheets to ensure that the correct items are selected for each customer order.
• Quality Control: Check items for damage or defects before packing, ensuring that customers receive only the highest quality products.
• Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety within the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and understand order sheets.
• Basic knowledge of pet-related products is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Reaching, bending, and lifting as necessary to fulfill order requirements.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
