We're seeking a talented Remote Medical Coder to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and compliant medical coding for various military treatment facilities.

What You'll Do:

Accurate Coding: Utilize your expertise to accurately code medical records across multiple healthcare domains.
System Navigation: Efficiently navigate government systems and electronic health records (EHRs) like MHS GENESIS and 3M Encompass 360.
Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity of patient records by inputting, verifying, and updating information in the EHR.
Compliance: Adhere to strict HIPAA and regulatory guidelines to protect patient privacy.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure coding accuracy.
What You'll Need:

2-3 years of medical coding experience
CPC, CCS, or equivalent coding certification
Proficiency in government systems and EHRs (MHS GENESIS, 3M Encompass 360, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
