Job Summary:

We are excited to invite a Medical Billing Supervisor to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our clients by addressing their billing inquiries, processing essential forms for insurance billing, and collecting necessary documentation. You will also collaborate with fellow Medical Billers to follow up on client inquiries, communicate with physicians' offices and hospitals to obtain records, and ensure accurate recording of patient information.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to engage with clients over the phone throughout the day. Experience with mental health billing and Icanotes EMR is required, along with familiarity with Maryland Medicaid.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify insurance eligibility daily for various panels
Assist clients in processing insurance claims for both private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare
Manage all necessary documentation required for insurance processing
Guide patients through the billing and insurance process, ensuring all necessary forms and signatures are collected
Collaborate with physicians' offices to gather charge information and billing details
Accurately enter billing and payment information into the system, maintaining error-free records
Follow up with clients on outstanding payments as needed
Answer incoming calls, address client questions, take messages, and screen calls
Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality
Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills
Previous experience in medical coding or billing is preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
