Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Location: South Gate, CA

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (specify)

Shift: (e.g., Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; evenings/weekends as needed)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, caring, and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our medical team. The C-MA will support physicians and nursing staff in both clinical and administrative functions to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
• Assist with basic patient examinations and procedures (e.g., injections, EKGs, phlebotomy).
• Prepare examination rooms, instruments, and supplies.
• Sterilize and maintain equipment and working area.
• Update and maintain patient charts and medical records (EMR).
• Assist in patient education (medication instructions, follow-up care, etc.).
• Perform basic lab tests and point-of-care diagnostics.
• Clean, stock, and organize clinical supplies.
• Manage front office tasks as needed: scheduling, answering phones, intake paperwork.

Required Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or similar).
• At least 2 years of MA experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under supervision.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is Required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $18-$25.00/hr (DOE — depending on experience & skills).
