Location: FULLY REMOTE - UNITED STATES (ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI AREA PREFERRED)

Description:

TRILEAF is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer / Designer with 2-5 years of experience in HVAC / Plumbing system design to join our team. In this role, you will support the design, development, and implementation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing systems for commercial projects across a variety of sectors including restaurants, c-store, and retail spaces. You will work closely with senior engineers, utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce detailed drawings, perform calculations, and ensure projects meet codes, standards, and client requirements. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, other engineers, and clients as part of an integrated design process.



• Create and coordinate construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit (Revit experience preferred but not required)



• Perform mechanical/HVAC calculations including code research



• Plumbing layout, calculations, and riser diagrams



• Problem-solve jurisdictional comments



• Proactively identify and communicate areas of potential value-engineering for Trileaf clients

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience working as a mechanical engineer/designer, including design of HVAC systems and plumbing systems for retail, convenience stores, and/or restaurants



• Working knowledge and experience of the design and construction process and the ability to understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines.



• Working ability to produce plans in AutoCAD and Revit (Revit experience preferred but not required)



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering preferred but not required.
